Why Should You Journal?
It is often said that the eyes are the window into the soul. This can be true, but I say that the hands are the real window into the soul. There is something so powerful about writing—especially writing by hand on paper rather than typing on a computer. In my experience, when I put pen to paper, I learn more about myself than any other method of self exploration. Ideas reveal themselves that I had no idea I was thinking before they appeared on the page. In fact, I believe that you can learn many important things about yourself if you would just start journaling on a regular basis.
But maybe you’re not sure where to begin. This is where a personal writing coach could be just what you are looking for. Sometimes, all you need is for someone to ask you the right questions. I happen to have a talent for asking questions that can help you get the deep dive into personal reflection and introspection that could help you to change your life and achieve your goals. Journaling often reveals unexpected depths that might warrant further discussion. Self-awareness, personal growth, and spiritual insights can all result from guided journaling.
